This cellar door is in a great location, shaded by big old gum trees. I went on a 100 degree day and it was a nice little oasis. They have a good restaurant which serves lunch daily.
2003 "Mamre Brook" Shiraz
5-6-6
Dark and inky, very dense color. Nose of blackberries. Fairly assertive tannins. Warm, black pepper highlights. I drank this with a meal of a salad and roasted vegetable crisp pizza and the wine went beautifully with the olives in the salad. AU$24
